My MLP Valentine's Day pic(or as they put it, Hearts and Hooves Day) Diamond Tiara giving Applebloom a peck on the cheek, AB quite doesn't know what to think of it.
As for putting these two together... I dunno why but I see DT’s teasing of the CMC and AB in particular as an attempt to hide the fact that deep down she’s hoof over heels crushing on our young apple farmer, she’s just too prideful and snooty to admit it to anypony and is very fearful of Applebloom rejecting her. Silver Spoon’s the only other pony who knows about it and thus goes along with Tiara’s bullying in the hope that one day she’ll drop the facade and come clean to Applebloom. Wither AB will return Diamond’s feelings or not I haven’t decided…
